Description
The Austin Air HealthMate has a large HEPA/Carbon filter that needs to be replaced every 3-5 years. This replacement Healthmate filter features 60 sq. ft. True Surgical Medical HEPA cloth (30 sq. ft. in Jr. model) as well as a 15 lb. blend of granulated carbon / zeolite (6.5 lb. in Jr. model). Both work together to eliminate odors and smoke while providing quality HEPA filtration that removes common indoor allergens like pollen, dander, dust, and mold spores. A built-in Permafilt medium particle prefilter helps to extend the life of the HEPA while a separate large particle prefilter traps visible particles.
Each filter contains your choice of full size or Austin Jr. replacement filter as well as a large particle prefilter. Select black for use in Black, Silver, or Midnight Blue HealthMate air purifiers. Select the white filter option for White or Sandstone HealthMate models. Replace every 3-5 years or as needed. Models: FR400 & FR200.
*Please note that any Austin Air units manufactured before 1995 can only use the Allergy Machine HEGA filters.
