Exclusively engineered for the Blue Pure 121 Air Purifier, the Blueair Blue Pure 121 Particle and Activated Carbon Filter is the ideal dual combination filter. This blended filter is naturally antibacterial and made from thousands of polypropylene shred-resistant chemical and binder-free fibers with an activated carbon pellet honeycomb core. It traps 99% of airborne contaminants such as pollen & mold spores, dust, dirt, sand, pet dander, viruses & bacteria, smoke odors, soot & ashes, household odors, airborne chemicals, chemical gasses, and harmful volatile organic compounds down to 0.1 microns in size.
The manufacturer recommends cleaning the filter regularly with a vacuum and replacing completely after 6 months or 4,380 hours depending on conditions and use. Filter is made from 100% recyclable materials.
