Specifically manufactured for the Blue Pure 211+ Air Purifier, the Blueair Blue Pure 211+ Replacement Particle and Carbon Filter works to rid the air of both irritating allergen particulates and harmful chemical pollutants at the same time. This combination filter is naturally antibacterial and consists of thousands of polypropylene shred-resistant chemical and binder-free fibers and activated carbon mesh. This dual media filter traps 99% of airborne contaminants and pollutants such as pollen & mold spores, dust, dirt, pet dander, smoke odors, soot & ashes, household odors, airborne chemicals, chemical gasses, and even viruses, bacteria, and volatile organic compounds down to 0.1 microns in size. The manufacturer recommends cleaning the filter frequently with either a vacuum or washcloth and replacing the filter completely every 6 months or 4,380 hours depending on conditions of use. Blueair Blue Pure Particle and Carbon Filters are made from 100% recyclable materials.
