The Pre-Filter compatible with the IQAir™ PreMax™ Pre-Filter is the first filter in the innovative and rigorous four step Filter-Monster air filtration system compatible with IQAir™ HealthPro™ Series Air Purifiers. Air is siphoned through the unit's bottom and first passes through the efficient Pre-Filter. Its purpose is to help control and reduce fine airborne particles such as pollen, mold spores, and pet dander, as well as protecting and prolonging the life of the remaining filters. An integral fan is located at the center of the unit, this fan guides airflow through the next stage of the filtration process.

This important Pre-Filter is crafted from non-woven glass micro-fiber, non-off gassing separators that can provide a coverage area of 30 square feet. The new edition™ filter technology helps to extend and prolong purifier filter life by 20%.

The second filter in the IQAir™ HealthPro™ Series Purifiers is the Carbon Filter. This crucial Filter is compatible with the IQAir™ V5-Cell™ Filter and is designed to help absorb and remove odors, smoke, and airborne chemical pollution. It also removes harmful VOCs (volatile organic compounds), which can cause adverse health effects and create strong odors in the air. The Carbon Filter takes these absorbed odors, gases, and airborne chemical pollutants and changes them to an oxidized form. This simply means that the absorbed pollutants are being combined with oxygen to better reduce and eliminate them.

The construction and layout of the Carbon Filter makes it easier for air to flow as it moves through the purifier. It's made from activated carbon and alumina which are ideal for absorbing airborne pollutants. This Carbon Filter lasts for up to 2 years depending on use. The last filter in the filtration system compatible with the IQAir™ HyperHEPA™ Filter is the HEPA Filter. This central filter is designed to work in place of the HyperHEPA™ Filter. It controls and removes ultra-fine particulate matter, including bacteria, viruses, pollen spores, mold spores, pet dander, dust, and dust mite debris that may be present in the air. Our HEPA Filter has been uniquely designed using True HEPA filtration to remove 99.97% of microscopic airborne particles down to 0.3 microns. This True HEPA Filter compatible with IQAir™ HealthPro™ Series operates at such superior levels that it is even widely used in hospitals and medical facilities. The Filter-Monster Replacement HEPA filters take air purification one step further by increasing filter life up to 38%.
