• The UV Bulb comes in a tray that easily slides into and out of the air purifier. Please see the Owner's Manual tab for full instructions on changing the UV Bulb Tray.

General:

The UV bulb emits light that activates a patented titanium oxide coating on the purifier's Silverscreen™ Trays, destroying odors, gases, VOCs, bacteria, and viruses (0.001 microns and larger) that the HEPA and Advanced Carbon filters cannot trap. It is therefore essential that you follow the manufacturer's replacement guidelines to assure the UV bulb's effectiveness in eliminating these molecules.

• Replace the UV Bulb Tray every 12 months with continuous use. Vornado PCO series air purifiers will alert you when it's time to replace the UV Bulb Tray by illuminating an indicator on the unit's control panel after 9,000 hours of run time (about a year). Below, the number of UV Bulb Trays required in these models:

• Replacement times are based on average‐use conditions. If your indoor air has unusually high levels of airborne contaminants or gaseous pollutants, service life may be shortened.
