Efficient True HEPA Filtration traps 99.97% of airborne particulates down to 0.3 microns in size. These particulates include pollen spores, mold spores, fungi spores, dust, pet dander, and fabric fibers. The durable construction of the True HEPA Filter includes a rigid plastic frame and large pressure seal to help prevent seepage of unfiltered air. A vital Activated Carbon Pre-Filter prolongs the life of the primary True HEPA Filter while also pre-cleaning the air of larger particles and absorbing odors. These odors include tobacco smoke, kitchen odors, cooking odors, pet odors, and other common or unwanted household aromas. User-Friendly Electronic Soft Touch Controls are practically located at the top of the unit for easy usability. The WP500P features 4 adjustable fan speeds from low to high, including turbo mode for maximum air cleaning efficiency. The intelligent sleep mode operates the purifier on the lowest and most efficient fan speed for optimal and quiet performance. Sleep mode will run for up to 8-hours, after which it resumes previous settings. Five stages of filter status lights indicate the conditions of both the pre-filter and primary filter. Filter replacement is recommended every 12-months for the HEPA filter and every 3-months for the pre-filter. When it is time to replace your filter, illuminated red indicator lights will flash. A safe child-lock button secures settings and prevents unintended changes during operation.
