enclosed areas, this Eva-Dry Renewable Mini Dehumidifier protects
clothing, home materials, and valuables from damage by mold, mildew,
and moisture rot. Perfect for placement in closets and under sinks,
this compact moisture adsorbent is 100% renewable and does not
require power for operation.
Simply place the Eva-Dry EDV Mini
Dehumidifier in a damp space, and its specially designed
crystallized gel immediately begins to adsorb moisture and decrease
humidity. The gel is odorless, non-toxic, and completely safe, and
once the moisture has been adsorbed, it cannot leak or spill. A
moisture meter changes from blue (dry) to pink (wet) to indicate
when its time for the unit to be renewed.
The renewal process is
easy; you dont have to deal with emptying a container of water or
cleaning up spills. Just plug the Eva-Dry Mini Dehumidifier into a
power outlet outdoors or in a well-ventilated area, and a built-in
heater causes the crystallized gel to release the adsorbed moisture
in the form of water vapor. The moisture meter changes back to blue when
its completely renewed (which takes about 8-10 hours for the Eva-Dry EDV333 and
12-14 hours for the EDV500 )and then its like a brand new
Dehumidifier! The Eva-Dry EDV333 is ready to adsorb another 6 ounces of moisture, and the Eva-Dry
EDV500 is set to adsorb another 8-10 ounces of moisture.

I love this so much I ordered another one. My husband and I live in a small apartment and the bathroom has no window. It's dark, damp, and a good place to grow mold. This is a terrific product!!!

Customer Q & A
Q1: What are the exact dimensions of the EVA 2200. I have seen two different sets of dimensions.
A: 8 3/4" H x 5" W x 6" D
Those are about as accurate as I can give since the body shape is round on all sides. That does not account for the plug, just the physical size of the dehumidifier.
Q2: Have large gun safe. Which model should i buy?
A: I have used both in the fireproof gun safe holds a dozen rifles/shotguns, and both have worked just fine with no issue. Though I will say, I got longer use out of the 500 model between recharges 2 months vs. 3 months. This will vary on humidity levels in the home, what you have in the safe and how often you get into it. However, both worked well in keeping moisture levels down to the point where rust or corrosion is not an issue.
Q3: What besides the price is the difference between the Eva-Dry 333 Mini Dehumidifier Item#: ED0002 and Eva-Dry 500 Mini Dehumidifier Item#: ED0003 I have a very small bathroom with no ventilation.It is always damp.

A: Size. The Eva-Dry 333 is effective for up to 333 cu. ft., and the Eva-Dry 500 is effective in spaces up to 500 cu. ft. These are some of few dehumidifiers that actually provide you a cubic foot volume of air effective range as opposed to a square footage effective range that does not take into account the total volume of air in a room/space.
