SBB300-3 Parquet Floor Tool

My wife purchased a black Miele coffe maker for our kitchen. After looking for more Miele appliances on the web, we found we liked the handle on the Orion and went ahead and made the purchase. It was a good fit for our flooring and goes well with decor in our home.

Miele Orion S4780 Vacuum Cleaners
The S4780 Orion is part of Miele’s S4 Galaxy series. This soft touch
black vacuum from Miele uses radio frequency remote controls that
allow you to change the suction power of the vacuum with the push of
a button on the handle. You also have the ability to pause the
vacuum to move a piece of furniture or a child's toy. The deluxe
ergonomic handle makes cleaning a breeze and removes stress from
your wrist. You are able to adjust the height of the stainless steel
wand. You find your most comfortable height for vacuuming by
adjusting the stainless steel wand and then extend the wand to clean
hard to reach places, fabrics, and furniture.
What I like about the Orion
The first quality of the Orion that jumps out at me is the color.
The soft touch black is a Miele trademark. The color makes this
vacuum look sophisticated and upscale. This color usually is
reserved for cell phones, sunglasses, and home appliances. It should
fit in perfectly with any decor or style you have in your home.
The Orion has an active HEPA filter. This filter captures tiny
particles including dust mite feces and pollen. It traps 99.99% of
all particles as tiny as 0.3 microns. The HEPA filter also uses
activated charcoal to help absorb odors.
I also like the Parquet Floor Brush (SBB300-3). This brush very
gently and thoroughly cleans tile and wood without damaging the
surface of the floor. The brush head is very versatile and it
swivels to clean hard to reach areas. You can vacuum around table
legs and into corners easily with this brush.
In addition to these features, the Orion comes standard with
everything that makes Miele vacuums unique. A durable ABS plastic
shell, self-winding cord, self-sealing bags, rubber bumper to
protect your furniture, three mini-attachments, ultra quiet
operation, smooth movement, seven year motor warranty, and long life
span make Miele well worth every penny.
What I do not like about the Orion
One thing I do not like about the Orion is that it does not do a
great job on carpeting. It does not come with a Turbobrush or a
powerbrush. You can upgrade to the turbobrush for carpeting, but you
cannot upgrade to the electric driven powerbrushes.
In summary, the S4780 Orion is very similar to the Luna, but the
Orion distinguishes itself with a more convenient handle and
fingertip suction control. The Active HEPA makes it ideal for asthma
and allergy sufferers concerned with the cleanliness of their floors
as well as the air they breathe.
